Plastics Research Corporation was established in 1973 to fill the the need for a company that could utilize the advances in plastics technology to produce large, special purpose, lightweight, cost effective shipping and storage containers for military and commercial customers
PRC has the capability to manufacture containers by any or all of the following methods: Open Molding, Compression Molding (LPMC™), Resin Transfer Molding (RTM), pre-preg and epoxy vacuum bagging. These manufacturing methods enable us to better meet our customer's requirements in a cost effective and efficient manner.
Since our founding, PRC has become a leading manufacturer of special purpose shipping and storage containers. We have developed more than 100 different types of containers and produced more than 250,000 containers of virtually any size for our customers.
PRC offers a full range of services from assistance in establishing specifications to design, development, tooling, manufacturing and testing of the products.
